It was just over a year ago as the fighter from North Carolina standing at 6’0″, 24 yrs young and 185lbs tough with the name Andre Adams swept thru DC to begin solidifying his amateur career with with his win at OneWorld MMA’s amateur MMA series event DC;MAX III-The Legacy Fight Series, hosted also in downtown DC at the popular and megaclub in DC, Fur Nightclub. Andre took home the OWMMA Middleweight Title that night.
Since then Adams has fallen only once to a loss in another amateur Title fight, but has finished his amateur career with two title belts, a solid 5-1-0 amateur record and is hungry to get started now with his pro record.
We welcome Andre Adams and look forward to seeing him in the cage. Go to owmma.eventbrite.com for tickets to the DC;PRO FIGHTS event being held Nov. 19th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, or to register for the 2011 Capital Grappling Championship being held earlier that day.
